Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer known as being a part of the group One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, along with three of his classmates, formed a musical group dubbed White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, they also participated in the 2010 Battle of Bands. Despite having an interest in music the man also had a dream of becoming an attorney or an physiotherapist. To support his family, he spent an hour or so working at a bakery. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. This is why his group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form an ensemble called One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were formed in 2010. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the candidates for the prize. They came third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not win the competition. However Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
