Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer, is also an actress. Liu is a gorgeous, talented actress who has helped numerous Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. She became famous after a number of popular early characters in television series. For instance, in The Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. The actress translated her sudden popularity into big screen roles in films such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. When she appeared in Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren. About the same time she also played key parts in other failed box office films such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Following that, she began to voice prominent characters in animated films like Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's performance as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen feature, failed to result in any positive results. Southland is a critically-acclaimed series of police dramas which featured Liu in recurring roles, helped her reestablish her own identity.
